Hello, my name is Vicente Partida, and I am an integrative counsellor based in London.
Vicente Partida, MBACP
My approach to counselling
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
My integrative approach to counselling involves drawing from a variety of modalities to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. I incorporate elements from psychodynamic and humanistic therapies, emphasising the creation of a supportive yet challenging space where you can explore your inner world. Many of us carry deep-seated shame, fears, or feelings we struggle to understand, or we find ourselves in repetitive and harmful relationships and behaviours. By exploring the unconscious—what lies outside our everyday awareness—and examining our past and present relationships with ourselves and others, we can gain a deeper understanding of our current situation.
I have experience working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and addressing a wide range of concerns, including (but not limited to):
Relationship challenges
Workplace stress
Anxiety and depression
Childhood trauma
Gender and sexuality
Cultural and racial identity
I also have experience working with LGBTQIA+ clients and people from multicultural backgrounds. Whether you have a specific issue you’d like to address or are unsure what is troubling you, an open and honest counselling relationship can help you explore and gain clarity.
ABOUT ME
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I hold a BA in Sociology, a Foundation Certification in Psychotherapy and Counselling, Year 2 equivalent of a PGDip in Psychotherapy and Counselling, and I am in my final year of an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy at Regent’s University London.
My approach is enriched by my multicultural background and extensive experience working internationally with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing me to connect with a wide range of clients. Before pursuing a career in counselling, I worked in marketing and communications for various charities and educational institutions, experiences that have broadened my understanding of human interactions and organisational dynamics.
